The Water and Dirt Festival is a multi day event taking place across the Ottawa Valley, and for the first time ever, KHR will be taking part. This exciting experience at Bonnechere Provincial Park invites participants to connect with nature and their community.
From 3:00 to 5:00 PM, participants will enjoy a guided canoe experience led by park staff. This session will cover basic paddling techniques, on water safety, and help build confidence for those who are new to canoeing. No prior experience is needed.
This program is open and accessible to everyone. Accessible canoes are available, and staff will be on site to support participants of all abilities. Equipment can be provided, or participants may bring their own canoe, paddle, and personal flotation device.
After the paddle, participants will gather again from 5:00 to 6:00 PM for a catered meal and a chance to connect with others.
