A Level 1 Fire Ban has been discontinued for KHR and is now in Nighttime Burning Only - April 1st to October 31st, effective immediately. Small campfires are still permitted, provided they are no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet and only take place between 2 hours before sunset and 2 hours after sunrise. Please use caution and follow all fire safety requirements.
The Round Lake Boat Launch will be closed starting on October 13th, 2026. During the construction period, the launch will be off limits to normal use and pedestrian use. Please respect all signage, fencing and construction areas during this time. Click Municipal Office - Notices to see the Closure Notice regarding the boat launch.
