Reduced Load Limits
|
Township of Killaloe,
Hagarty and Richards
Notice of Reduced Load Limits
Pursuant to By-Law 8-2005, reduced load
limits will be strictly enforced on all
township roads from March 1st or earlier
if conditions warrant, to May 15th inclusive,
or later if conditions warrant.
Reduced load limits will become effective
upon the erection of appropriate signs.

Opposition to "Lighten the Ecological
Footprint"
|
Township of Killaloe,
Hagarty and Richards
encourages you to sign the letter
to
Minister of Natural Resources Linda Jeffrey
opposing the recommendations of the report
“Lighten the Ecological Footprint of Logging
in Algonquin Park”
We will forward the letters
to Minister Jeffrey so that
she is made aware
that there was a total lack of
consultation
regarding this issue, that there is
strong
local opposition, and absolutely
no regional
support, for the recommendations
being promoted
by the MNR.
We will be collecting the
letters on March 4, 2010 so
that we can ensure that they are delivered
to Minister Jeffrey by the response deadline
of March 8, 2010. The letter
is also available at our Municipal
Office at 1 John Street in Killaloe.

for volunteer fire fighters. Applicants
must be 18 years of age or older, in good
physical condition, and pass a medical
examination.
A Class DZ drivers license would be an asset.

To Anyone Who Owns
or Harbours a Dog
in the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty
and Richards
Pursuant to By-Law 24-01, all dogs in the
municipality three months of age and older,
must be licensed each and every year.
Licenses may be purchased at the Municipal
Office during regular office hours until
March 31, 2010 at the following rates:
$15.00 – unneutered
male/unspayed female
$10.00 – neutered
male/spayed female
(Certificate
required for proof)
$5.00 – each
additional dog
Effective April 1, 2010 the rates will increase
by $5.00 per licence.
