Killaloe Kool Summer Dayz

Killaloe Kool Summer Dayz to Kick Off Summer Season!!
Downtown Garage Sale, Local Food, Music and Kids Activities Highlight New Festival

Saturday June 19, 2010
9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Downtown Killaloe
.

Get ready to welcome summer with a brand new festival in the heart of the Village of Killaloe.  The Economic Development Committee of Killaloe, Hagarty & Richards is pleased to announce that a brand new family event will take place on Saturday June 19, 2010 in downtown Killaloe

Killaloe Kool Summer Dayz will be a celebration of the Summer Solstice and will feature local food, local entertainment, the Kidz Toy Bus and a huge downtown Garage Sale!  In fact, all residents of the Township are encouraged to clean out their basements and garages, and bring a table downtown to take part in festivities.  The fun begins at 9:00 AM and will wrap up at 2:00 PM.

Throughout the day, the Kidz Toy Bus will be in Station Park and have an amazing variety of children’s activities and also feature children’s entertainers.  The new Killaloe Kool Summer Dayz Festival is inviting anyone who is a musician, juggler, street performer or some type of other talent to join the fun.  A large part of the new festival is the addition of Buskers.  Buskers are street performers, and you will have a chance to see some great local talent throughout the downtown area.  If you want some great food, there will be some Taste of the Valley food vendors on site to introduce you to the best in local products.

There is no age restriction for buskers and applications are available at the Township Office in Killaloe.  The Organizing Committee welcomes any local resident who wants to appear as a busker to contact the committee.  This is a great chance for people to show off their talents and maybe make a little money as well!  If you want to set up a table for the Garage Sale, there is no charge to set up a table and applications are also available at the Township Office.
